Menopause Innovation Challenge

Menopause Innovation Challenge – Pre-Commercial Procurement Open for Applications.

The Scottish Health Industry Partnership (SHIP), part of the Scottish Government Chief Scientist Office (CSO) has partnered with CivTech to fund a Menopause Innovation Challenge: How can technology help empower women to better understand menopause and access the right support for their individual needs at the right time?

The challenge is now open for applications until midday on Tuesday 22nd August 2023. You must apply for this Challenge via Public Contracts Scotland

This Challenge seeks to empower women to access the right support for their needs, by helping them to understand and identify the best options for individualised support; understand which self-help measures may be useful and to manage symptoms in the workplace; and to access medical support.

CivTech is a tech accelerator launched in 2016 by the Scottish Government. Its aims are simple: to create better public services for citizens while boosting Scotland’s economy by helping innovative companies launch new products with global potential. Successful applicants are given funding, intensive support and space at the CivTech Studio, where they spend four months working hand in hand with their Challenge Sponsors and NHS Scotland Test Beds to build a prototype or ‘Minimum Viable Product’. Full details of the CivTech process are available here.

A live Q&A session will be held with the Challenge Sponsor team on Tuesday 11 July 2023 at 11:00. Register via this link for the session
